Drip Coffee Company was founded by Steve Thatcher, a veteran of the coffee business with more than 19 years of experience owing and operating specialty coffeehouses. Steve opened his first store, Roasters Coffee & Tea Company, in his home town of Amarillo, Texas, in 1992. Later Steve opened a second location in Boston, which won “Best Coffee” by Boston Magazine. We are honored that Chef Dean Fearing chose our coffee to be served at Fearing’s Restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas.
Steve’s latest venture, Drip Coffee Company, opened in December 2005 in the heart of Dallas’ Park Cities. Drip’s mission is quite simple… to provide the highest quality coffee available in the world. We hand roast all of our coffees on site in small batches to ensure that our customers enjoy only fresh coffee roasted to its peak flavor.
At Drip, all of our coffees are 100% Arabica beans, the highest grade coffee in the world. We have a diverse assortment of varieties, ranging from South American coffees to African, Pacific, and Arabian, all of which are grown on small Estates and family owned farms. Our brokers have found coffees around the world that are truly of the highest quality.
